MYSTERY OF A WOMAN'S SOUL

Being a different color in this world is not easy at all
We go through so many things
Trying to understand
What's going on inside of us
Keeping so many secrets
That most people can't get to know
Because they won't understand

I hide myself behind an angel's wing
I live through her, but people don't want to see us together on the street
Society is hypocrite: we're damned,
We're the sin that religion blames?
I don't want strong arms torturing my feelings
I want a sweet angel to make my sadness fade away
To shed my tears when I cry... to bring me up with joy

I want to fly so high beside my angel
Viewing the true colors of nature in this painting called life
Living the vast gift of love through your eyes
You and I: stronger than ever?
Defeating prejudice, showing everyone
How proud and happy we are
Of letting the world know about who we really are
